Operational commentary

    Model notes & caveats
    • Production model (historical actuals): MWh = MW × CF_target × 730h × availability × seasonality × noise(±5%). CF_target = 28% onshore / 45% offshore — uniform across sites, calibrated on a European fleet average. No site-specific wind resource differentiation in the actuals generator; resource variance between sites is modelled in the forecast engine from 2026 onward.
    • Energy yield cascade: The table above shows a 2-factor cascade (gross → availability → net). The full IEC 61400-15 5-step cascade (wake losses, technical losses, availability, curtailment, degradation) is applied in the forward-looking model using site-specific assumptions from site_operational_assumptions.csv.
    • Availability: 96.5% uniform for all operational sites, all periods. Planning assumption — not derived from maintenance logs or turbine-level SCADA data. In a live system, availability would vary by asset age, O&M contract scope, and grid curtailment events.
    • Under-construction sites: Andalusia (S05, 50 MW, COD 2027), Jutland Offshore (S07, 400 MW, COD 2028), Baltic East (S08, 60 MW, COD 2026) show zero production. CapEx and construction financing are tracked on the Cash & Debt page.
    • No revenue allocation by site: Revenue is recorded at entity level (E_FR owns S01+S02+S03). Site-level P&L can be approximated as MWh × capture_rate × baseload_price but is not derived from the GL. See Financial Performance for entity-level P&L.
